Enter your gross annual salary, pick a simplified tax band and set a contribution rate to estimate your net annual and monthly pay, the effective tax rate and a per-band breakdown. The tax bands are a simplified reference only; this is an estimate, not a tax return, a payslip or tax advice, and real rates depend on your country, region and personal situation.

How to Use the After-Tax Salary Estimator
Enter your gross annual salary, choose the simplified tax band that is closest to your region, and set the share of your pay that goes to social contributions. Press Calculate to see your net annual and monthly pay.
How the estimate is built
Contributions are taken first, as a simple percentage of gross pay.
Income tax is then applied to the remaining taxable income, band by band.
Net pay is gross pay minus contributions and income tax.
The effective tax rate is income tax divided by gross pay; the total deduction rate also includes contributions.
Reading the table
The breakdown table shows how much of your income falls into each band, the rate for that band and the tax it produces. Only the portion of income above each threshold is taxed at the higher rate.
Keep it in perspective
Real tax systems have allowances, credits, regional rates and many other deductions. Use this tool to compare two salaries or rough scenarios, then confirm the exact figure with a payroll team or a tax professional.
